A Fourteenth Century Franciscan Prayer to Saint Joseph
O prince of patriarchs, Joseph, lead us straight to heaven through Christ whom you have carried and whom you have placed with joy and love in the manger, next to His mother. Amen.
Nos, Ioseph, recto tramite Ducas ad coeli sidera Per Christum, quem tractasti; Quem cum casta puerpera, Praesepio Cum gaudio Devote reclinasti.

Don you think the hanging thing on his wall was made by taylor? He posted it an year ago but they already broke up idk
LOL What ? The embroidery thingy? No 😹😹😹😹😹 It's obviously a gift from Claire Denis. I thought he made it very clear. He showed it to us in the September photodump, you know the Paris photodump. He even posted a pic of Claire in the same photodump.
And you can tell this pic was taken on the Eurostar. Clearly he brought it with him from Paris.

My daughter wrote this about marriage. The truth according to the Word of God.
“This is such an unpopular belief. If you’re willing, hear me out on something.
I’ll use Joseph as an example, he seemed like a good kid. He didn’t seem to do anything wrong where he should be thrown into a pit and then sold into slavery. Yet he was. Then he was falsely accused of a horrendous crime and thrown into prison. He didn’t walk away from God. He could have slept with that man’s wife, but he didn’t. He chose to NOT do the wrong thing and yet, he was still punished. Seems unfair right?
Paul was on the wrong path, taking part in the killing of Christian’s. Then he turned his life around and chose to follow God, side by side with those who he was formerly taking part in persecuting. He was wrongly thrown into prison. Yet, in his distress, he still walked with God and he had JOY even in prison. Most of us actually have so much to be thankful for, but we can’t even find joy. Nothing is ever good enough. There’s always something that could be better.
I think that reason is that we are focusing too much on ourselves and our own happiness. We lay the expectation on others to make us happy. “If they would only do this and that, then everything would be fine.”
Instead, our eyes should be solely focused on the Lord and allowing Him to change US. Look internally at what God needs to fix within yourself. We shouldn’t be looking at what other people are or are not doing for us. We should be looking at how God might use us to bless someone else. God is the only one who will satisfy that need in your heart to have the perfect mate and/or friend. He is the only one who is big enough to fill that spot.
As wives, God tells us to do something that goes against cultural standards:
“Wives, likewise, be submissive to your own husbands, that even if some do not obey the word, they, without a word, may be won by the conduct of their wives, when they observe your chaste conduct accompanied by fear. Do not let your adornment be merely outward—arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel— rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God. For in this manner, in former times, the holy women who trusted in God also adorned themselves, being submissive to their own husbands, as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him Lord, whose daughters you are if you do good and are not afraid with any terror.”
‭‭I Peter‬ ‭3‬:‭1‬-‭6‬
This says that even if some do not obey the Word… we are still to submit to our husbands. It doesn’t say if they love you like Christ loves the church. I see a lot of those comments on wife pages when the older women are trying to teach the younger women to respect their husbands and love their children. It’s always “Well what about how he treats you?! If he can’t treat me like Christ treats the church, then I am not respecting him nor submitting to him in the same way I submit to the Lord (yes: “Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord.” Ephesians‬ ‭5‬:‭22‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)
We are concentrating too much on what other people are doing. If someone is disobeying God, we will choose to also disobey God because the other person isn’t obeying. We aren’t submitting to our husbands because they have not met some personal expectation. We submit to our husbands because God says to submit to our husbands. We are doing it for God because we love God and trust that He is who He says He is and that He created the world to work a certain way.
Sarah obeyed Abraham CALLING HIM LORD. That’s unheard of these days. In fact, it’s so unheard of that it sounds wrong. If out in public, I called my husband lord, sir, master or anything like that, even in church, I would certainly get odd looks.
My beautiful women of God, I know that not every man is easy to deal with. I know there are unjust men on this earth. But it was also unjust all that Joseph went through. It was also unjust all that Paul went through. The world is full of sin and this is not our home. We aren’t here to find happiness. God never promised us happiness. He promised an unshakable joy and peace though. A joy and peace that is deep within you that can not be shaken by circumstance. It doesn’t mean your marriage will be easy or that your life will not be met with intense struggle. It means that even so, God is with you and He will give you everything you need in each situation. The endurance, the patience, the strength…
I have lived the selfish life. I have lived for myself. I have been disrespectful to my husband. I have chosen to do things my way instead of submitting to my husband. I have taken advice from those who I shouldn’t have. All it led to was strife and all types of misery. Yelling. Arguments.
That’s not the way marriage has to be. It’s not the way God intended marriage to be.
We ARE equal to our husbands in Gods eyes. There is neither Jew nor gentile, male nor female- however, we DO have different roles assigned to us.
Even in the military, each member is important, yet there are different roles. You are trained to take orders from those who are higher ranking than you so that everything flows easy, the task gets done and everyone remains safe. If you had a group of alpha males for an army and everyone equally was in charge, it would be nothing but chaos if there were differing views on how a task needed to be executed.
Some of us ladies are out in the work force and have a job. If your boss tells you to do something, you do it, even if you don’t like that boss. You do it because you respect them as your boss (you need to not get fired). I’ve seen some say you listen to your boss because he hands you your paycheck. Regardless of if he is a “good boss” you follow his orders/respect him.
Why can we not give that same respect for our husbands? God hands us the paycheck of salvation. The Lord paid the price. Not only did He pay the price, but He left instructions on how He created the world to work. Just like if a mechanic built you a car and said, “Do not put anything other than unleaded fuel in this vehicle.” The mechanic isn’t trying to control what you are doing. He’s telling you this is how he created the vehicle to run. You certainly can put diesel in the vehicle if you choose to. You have the free will to. However, when the car breaks down, you can not be upset with the mechanic when you are now without a vehicle. He told you not to do it, you did it anyways and there are always consequences for those things. He wanted you to avoid those consequences, that’s why he gave you the instructions.
Sure, your husband might be unjust. I’m not saying that we should sin if our husband asks us to sin. We certainly shouldn’t. We see how Abraham asked Sarah to stretch the truth and it caused a lot of chaos. But if it’s not sin, why not submit instead of arguing?
Don’t worry about what your husband is doing and if he is loving you in the right manner. You do YOUR part because you love and trust God! Do it for GOD. God will deal with your husband in His timing. As with anything else, vengeance is Gods and trust me when I say, He will repay. He sees everything. 1 Peter 3:7 even instructs husbands on how to treat their wives and says to do these things “that your prayers may not be hindered.” God will handle your husband if he is mishandling you. I’ve noticed in other situations outside of marriage(not my husband), if I continue to do what is right even when it’s hard while I’m being mistreated, God shows up and I’ve seen Him bring justice. How much more will He show up in your situation if the man you are submitting to is treating you in an unjust manner?! You don’t have to defend yourself. You aren’t the one who saves you.
The Word says if your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him drink. For in doing so, you heap hot coals on his head. It doesn’t mean that your enemy deserves you to take care of his body in the same way that you take care of yours. I mean, he is your enemy for a reason. However, God says to do this thing. It might not make sense to us why, and it might seem unfair. Yet, we do this because we trust God. We know He is all wise and all knowing. We know He created the world and has all the “cheat codes” so to speak. If we are told to do this for our very enemy, how much more should we do so to the man who we chose to marry?
I kind of detoxed and chose carefully what I was putting in my ears and who I was consistently communicating with. I prayed and I searched for those godly women the Bible speaks of who teach the younger wives to respect their husbands and love their children. I was careful who I took advice from and made sure it matched up with the Bible. I bought books and compare what they say to the Bible. I listened to podcasts of women who intently follow God and who have been married for years. I truly thought I was a submissive wife before all of this. Maybe to the world I was, but not when comparing to the godly women in the Bible. Not compared to what God says to do. So I wanted to change everything. I prayed God would change my heart and give me the heart of a submissive and respectful wife. Although it has been bumpy and I have made mistakes along this journey, and likely will make more mistakes, it has provided a peace and joy that I can not describe to you. Our dynamic has shifted, my mindset has shifted, and I just want to shout from the roof tops, “Listen to God! He truly knows the way!”
I’m sure I will continue to make mistakes, as I am human. However, I am diligently striving to serve my husband and learn to submit in all aspects and respect him fully. He is my covering, he is my king.
I encourage you to read the book of Esther and ask yourself if you want to be Queen Vashti or Queen Esther. The world is FULL of Vashti’s. I encourage you to pray and ask God to give you the heart of Queen Esther. Even if you don’t feel like it’s even possible, pray for it. God is in the business of making possible the impossible.
If you aren’t married, you have the choice on who you marry. Make sure you find a man of God who you see as a good leader. One that you gladly want to submit to and respect.
(This is NOT me in the video. This is just one lady I really enjoy hearing perspective from.)
May this reach the ears of any willing to hear,
Jordan”

St. Joseph: Most Chaste Heart of Joseph? Sounds pretty asexual to me. I’m kidding I’m kidding, but I have a feeling he Gets It.
St. Andrew: I saw the guy’s skull, so.
St. Martin de Porres: I, too, feel very called to religious life but also barred from it for reasons beyond my choice and control* but I refuse to let that stop me, so I have a feeling he Gets It. (*Note: my reasons are not race and bigotry related, so I can’t exactly say that I Get It.)
St. Kateri Tekakwitha: She said “I’m going to be single forever” and is so valid for it.
St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross: idk, she’s kind of followed me around. The first time I went to mass with my mom (in the most gorgeous chapel I’ve ever seen and likely ever will see) they were celebrating her feast day, and it’s stuck with me ever since.
St. Dennis: His feast day’s the day before my birthday, and one of my ancestral surnames means “Dennis’s son”.
St. Catherine of Siena: Do I need to explain?
St. Fieri of Flavortown: iykyk

REFLECTIONS ON THE QUR'AN: Sūrah Yūsuf (Joseph): Part 4
It occurred to them (the noblemen and their spouses), even after they had seen the signs (of Joseph’s innocence), that they should imprison him for a time. (Yūsuf 12:35)
This verse can be interpreted from a few perspectives, as follows:
1. That incident, which was gossiped about among the women, spread widely in the capital of Egypt at that time. Therefore, although Joseph was innocent, he should have been declared guilty and imprisoned in order to cease the rumor and preserve the “honor” of the minister and his wife. This has usually been the common attitude and practice of many ruling powers in history.
2. Prophet Joseph, upon him be peace, did not defend himself while he was imprisoned because as a Prophet, in addition to preserving his honor and chastity, he was expected to consider the honor of his audience on the way to Paradise, to which he called others. Therefore, Prophet Joseph could not make the honor of others the subject of gossip among people. Also, he would have to preserve his tongue from backbiting others to the extent that he kept himself distant from any unlawful affair. During his stay in prison, the incident was forgotten in Egypt. The new younger generation did not know it. For the sake of preserving the honor of others, Prophet Joseph, upon him be peace, was consented to be imprisoned for around ten years.
3. In the end, those who slandered Joseph admitted his innocence even though it was around ten years later, saying, “Now the truth has come to light” (Yūsuf 12:51). Obviously, there is a huge difference be-tween self-exoneration and exoneration by others. Both Zulaykha and her friends admitted before the king and other royal personnel that Prophet Joseph, upon him be peace, was sinless and utterly chaste. Despite the facts that point to Joseph’s innocence, such as the tearing of Joseph’s shirt from behind and the Zulaykha’s confession before her friends, the illustrious Prophet was put in prison. Yet, this proved to be one of the steps in the accomplishment of his mission and signaled that there might be many other innocent people in the prison. There he underwent a trial to be perfected and convey God’s Message in Egypt. He was released from prison where he had been put as a slave but walked out as the conqueror of hearts and the beloved of the people of Egypt. Actually, at the moment he lost his freedom, he entered the path to conquering hearts. While he was thrown into nothingness in terms of his carnal existence and ego, he stepped towards another rank of revival of the heart and spirit. While he was achieving self-perfection, he breathed “life” into spiritually dead bodies and diffused light from the pyramids to lead them upon the way to the Israelite Prophets, such as Moses, David, Solomon, and Jesus, peace be upon them all, and finally to Prophet Muhammad, the Crown of Prophethood and the Pride of Humankind, upon him be peace and blessings. This all happened one by one when their time came, and Joseph, upon him be peace, became a most true and virtuous reminder for the people who have come after him.

Go into Nature...

November 16, 2023
Dear Family of Mary!
May 25, 2023
"Dear children!
I am calling you
to go into nature
and to pray for the Most High
to speak to your heart
and that you may feel
the power of the Holy Spirit
so as to witness the love
which God has for every creature.
I am with you
and intercede for you.
Thank you for having responded to my call."
Going into Nature is going into reality. Nature is what God gave to us at creation. Nature is truth. Nature comes from God's infinite love and His equally infinite intelligence. Nature reflects God's design for our wellbeing. When we go into Nature, we encounter God. We may not know it, but we do.
That is one reason Medjugorje is such a wonderful pilgrimage site. It is a simple place, with simple roads and mountain paths, where you must interface with Nature constantly. This is Our Lady's design. She wants us to see God in His brilliance through Nature. We encounter Him there and are changed.
Our Lady tells us in this message to go into nature, and to pray with our hearts to God, so that we will be filled with the Holy Spirit and experience the love of God for all creatures. She knows that in our technological age, we spend most of our waking hours in front of computer screens and in artificial environments. We can become spiritually sick if we spend too much time in this manmade reality.
Go into Nature!! Go!! Pray to God outside in the open air, with trees and flowers and sun. Go into Nature!
Here is a prayer written by St. Francis that may help us:
The Canticle of the Sun
Most High, all-powerful, good Lord,
Yours are the praises, the glory, the honor, and all blessings.
To You alone, Most High, do they belong,
and no man is worthy to mention Your name.
Praised be You, my Lord, with all your creatures;
especially Brother Sun, who is the day, and through whom You give us light.
And he is beautiful and radiant with great splendor,
and bears a likeness to You, Most High One.
Praised be You, my Lord, through Sister Moon and the stars;
in heaven You formed them clear and precious and beautiful.
Praised be You, my Lord, through Brother Wind,
and through the air, cloudy and serene,
and every kind of weather through which You give sustenance to Your creatures.
Praised be You, my Lord, through Sister Water,
which is very useful and humble and precious and chaste.
Praised be You, my Lord, through Brother Fire,
through whom You light the night;
and he is beautiful and playful and robust and strong.
Praised be You, my Lord, through Sister Mother Earth,
who sustains us and governs us and who produces
varied fruits with colored flowers and herbs.
Praised be You, my Lord,
through those who give pardon for Your love,
and bear infirmity and tribulation.
Blessed are those who endure in peace
for by You, Most High, they shall be crowned.
Praised be You, my Lord,
through our Sister Bodily Death,
from whom no living man can escape.
Woe to those who die in mortal sin.
Blessed are those whom death will find in Your most holy will,
for the second death shall do them no harm.
Praise and bless my Lord,
and give Him thanks,
and serve Him with great humility.
Amen.
In Jesus, Mary and Joseph!

#PowerfulPrayerstoSt.Joseph
🌻🏵🌼💐🏵🌼💐🌻🌼💐
[The Memorare to St. Joseph]
Remember,
O most chaste spouse of the Virgin Mary, that never has it been known that anyone who asked for your help and sought your intercession was left unaided.
Full of confidence in your power,
I hasten to you, and beg your protection.
Listen, O foster-father of the Redeemer,
to my humble prayer,
and in your goodness hear and answer me. Amen.
[Prayer to St. Joseph for Protection]
O St. Joseph, whose protection is so great,
so prompt,
so strong,
before the throne of God, I place in you all my interests and desires.
O St. Joseph, do assist me by your powerful intercession,
and obtain for me from your Divine Son
all spiritual blessings, through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
So that, having engaged here below your heavenly power,
I may offer my thanksgiving and homage to the most loving of fathers.
O St. Joseph, I never weary contemplating you and Jesus asleep in your arms;
I dare not approach while he reposes near your heart.
Press him in my name and kiss his fine head for me and
ask him to return the kiss when I draw my dying breath.
St. Joseph, patron of departing souls — pray for me.
Amen.
[The Prayer of Confidence in St. Joseph]
With childlike confidence I present myself before thee, O holy Joseph, faithful foster father of Jesus!
I beg thy compassionate intercession and support in this, my present necessity.
[Name your petition.]
I firmly believe that thou art most powerful near the throne of God,
who chose thee for the foster father of his well-beloved son, Jesus Christ.
O blessed Saint, who saved that treasure of heaven, with his virginal mother, from the fury of his enemies, who with untiring industry supplied his earthly wants and with paternal care accompanied and protected him in all the journeys of his childhood, take me also, for the love of Jesus, as thy child.
Assist me in my present difficulty with thy prayers before God.
The infinite goodness of our savior, who loved and honored thee as his father upon earth, cannot refuse thee any request now in heaven.
How many pious souls have sought help, from thee in their needs and have experienced, to their joy, how good, how ready thou art to assist.
How quickly thou dost turn to those who call upon thee with confidence!
How powerful thou art in bringing help and restoring joy to anxious and dejected hearts!
Therefore,
do I fly to thee,
O most worthy father of Jesus, most chaste spouse of Mary!
Good St. Joseph,
I pray thee by the burning love thou hadst for Jesus and Mary upon earth,
console me in my distress and present my petition, through Jesus and Mary, before the throne of God!
One word from thee will move him to assist my afflicted soul.
Then most joyfully shall I praise him and thee,
and more earnest shall be my thanksgiving! Amen.
[Prayer Before Work to St. Joseph the Worker]
O Glorious Saint Joseph, model of all those who are devoted to labor,
obtain for me the grace to work in a spirit of penance for the expiation of my many sins;
to work conscientiously,
putting the call of duty above my natural inclinations; to work with thankfulness and joy, considering it an honor to employ and develop by means of labor the gifts received from God;
to work with order, peace, moderation, and patience, never shrinking from weariness and trials;
to work above all with purity of intention and detachment from self, keeping unceasingly before my eyes death and the account that I must give of time lost, talents unused,
good omitted, and vain complacency in success,
so fatal to the work of God.
All for Jesus, all through Mary,
all after thy example,
O Patriarch, Saint Joseph.
Such shall be my watch-word in life and in death.
Amen.
[The Litany of St. Joseph]

O God, Who in Thine ineffable Providence didst vouchsafe to choose Blessed Joseph to be the spouse of Thy most holy Mother,
grant,
we beseech Thee,
that he whom we venerate as our protector on earth may be our intercessor in Heaven.
Who lives and reigns forever and ever. Amen.
[Ad Te, Beate Joseph]
To you,
O blessed Joseph,
do we come in our tribulation, and having implored the help of your most holy spouse,
we confidently invoke your patronage also.
Through that charity which bound you to the Immaculate Virgin Mother of God and through the paternal love with which you embraced the Child Jesus,
we humbly beg you graciously to regard the inheritance which Jesus Christ has purchased by his Blood,
and with your power and strength to aid us in our necessities.
O most watchful Guardian of the Holy Family,
defend the chosen children of Jesus Christ;
O most loving father,
ward off from us every contagion of error and corrupting influence;
O our most mighty protector,
be propitious to us and from heaven assist us in our struggle with the power of darkness; and, as once you rescued the Child Jesus from deadly peril, so now protect God's Holy Church from the snares of the enemy and from all adversity; shield, too, each one of us by your constant protection,
so that, supported by your example and your aid, we may be able to live piously,
to die holily, and to obtain eternal happiness in heaven. Amen.
[ Petition for St Joseph's Blessing]
Bless me,
O dearly beloved father,
St. Joseph; bless my body and my soul; bless my resolutions, my words and deeds,
all my actions and omissions,
my every step; bless all that I possess,
all my interior and exterior goods,
that all may redound to the greater honor of God.
Bless me for time and eternity,
and preserve me from every sin.
Obtain for me the grace to make atonement for all my sins by love and contrition here on earth, so that after my last breath I may,
without delay, prostrate at thy feet and return thee thanks in heaven for all the love and goodness thou,
O dearest father,
hast shown me here below.
Amen.
